It is a longstanding tradition that families take pictures on the red couch at the White Swan Hotel when they get to Guangzhou. We put on our Chinese clothes and took some pics. Then we did some paperwork for the American consulate for Kai's visa--Happy Mama, ready to be done with paperwork!!
