Yesterday my friends from church threw me a "baby shower". We had Chinese food and China/Panda inspired decorations and gifts. How fun!! Thanks, Girls!!!!
PS-I watched "Big Bird in China" as soon as I got home!!
We set out on this journey certain that we would be adopting a baby girl from China and that we would be naming her "Grace". As we opened our hearts in faith, the Lord led us to little Kai. It's amazing how a journey can sometimes take a left turn. It wasn't where we thought we would be going, but it's exactly where we are meant to be.

Hi Nina and Gary - We are so excited for you!!! Next Wednesday you leave! You must be busy right now. Please call us anytime if you want to talk, our number is 714-871-3408 and start to leave a message if we don't pick up (we get so many telemarketing calls we rarely answer the phone!). We are pretty busy now but the boys are doing really well and everyday something good happens. We can't wait to get together with you guys when you get back and after you have adjusted of course! So call anytime when you have time and we can talk. Love you! Jayne and Rich
Yay! I was so excited when I came across the Big Bird in China DVD--I literally found it almost a year ago! I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be there on Sunday, looks like you guys all had a great time, though. Can't wait to meet your little guy--have a safe trip to China. Much Love--

Congrats! We are a CCAI Chongqing family and will be following your blog as you travel to bring your little guy home! You are in great hands with Marie- we had an awesome time, and it was an incredible experience. We brought our daughter home in Sept. of 2004. I hope the earthquake doesn't impact your travel! We'll keep you in our prayers.
